Town of Winnipeg awards renovation grants to 7 community centres – Winnipeg

Winnipeg is awarding renovation grants to seven community centres by way of the city’s renovation grant plan.

“Winnipeg’s exclusive community centre design brings our neighbourhoods together and will help give them an id,” said Mayor Scott Gillingham.

Fourteen applicants sought grants during the tumble requesting a full of $1,015,220, and seven were chosen for a full of $513,625.

The centres getting the grant are Fort Garry, Norberry-Glenlee, Robert A. Steen, Roblin Park, Varsity See, Westdale and Westridge.
